Hey guys, I started flying couple years but i was slow on process of flying because I started flying with helimax rotofly, that was a junk never got it to hover. Then had a walkera 22e, well until last year i got a good heli to do basic hovering and stuff. Until this year I started practicing forward flight with my old yet new to me raptor 30. I have a cheap clearview simulator, better then FMS simulator but its not like flying a real rc nitro heli. Anyways I got figure eights dial down now gonna practice opposite way of figure eights. Here is the spec of the heli. The challange was to do the impossible, fly a huge aerobatic RC-plane under Stockholm through a 3.9km long tunnel called Södra länken. The plane is 80" wide and weighs 13lb. The mighty electric motor provides 35lb of thrust and a topspeed closer to 120mph. enjoy.

I've now fitted the camera and video transmitter for the first video-enabled test flights. Apart from the supplied rubber bands perishing then breaking in less than a day's exposure to the harsh southern hemisphere summer sun, everything is working just fine. However, I did move the ESC to the outside of the fuselage after the original unit failed because it got too hot when stuck inside the very insulating EPP foam fuselage. Check out the aerial footage of the mini dust-tornado I captured from the onbaord camera while test-flying. Next video will detail how the FY21AP stability system, onscreen display and return-to-launch facility works.

In just under 4 hours, leftover parts were used to make a neat RC airplane as demonstrated in Mr. Herbert's Science Class. It's called "The Junkyard Dog". Using mostly COX airplane parts from models gone by the wayside, I'll show you how I made mine with no plans or a kit. Tired of the noise and mess of my full size airplanes, and since electrics have come a long way, I've become intrigued by them. So needing a break from all the muss and fuss of the full size, gas RC planes, I decided to try to make my own electric plane, with what I learned the hard way over the years. Wow, the overall quality of this little camera is exceptional. Before you lay out your hard earned cash to buy a FlyCam you need to know if it will do the job. What's the size of it? How can you fit it to a model. Loads of videos out there showing the results but if you've not seen the camera fitted in the flesh you would not know if its what you want for your plane, boat, train... After looking at this video the fitting may seem obvious but many are surprised you can get away with just Velcro so its better to know before you part with your cash. This video was made for a mate down under in Oz to show what you do and what you can get away with -- the rest is down to your imagination - if your spaghetti will allow you to tie a knot - use it. I hope it helps you and others. I have made loads of videos using this great little camera so if you want to see the videos made look on YouTube under "brucepeter2007" and also "BPMFC" or the best is "Eastchurch Gap V3". - Have loads of fun.

NitroPlanes MQ-9 Reaper UAV Drone Part 2. FLYING ONLY!

Part 2---The MQ-9 is (at this moment) is the most advanced of the USA's UAV's (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). When NitroPlanes asked me if I would like to review this model before they introduce it later this month, I said "Absolutely!" Having no manual or any idea how to proceed after getting it, I built it (see my other video) and showed the maiden flight. This video shows FLYING ONLY! The motor I decided to use is the A-22, 18 Amp motor from NitroPlanes. It, and the 30 amp Speed Controller, are out of my Guanli Spitfire and proves quite ample. This is a project for an experienced modeler, in my opinion, because I used nothing but experience to figure out how to build this thing without a manual! I understand now that there is a manual for the Reaper. That would surely would have made it easier, but we Marines like challenges! The manual has 4 pages of drawings and available on NitroPlane's Website. This plane flies very sweet and is very smooth. It has lots of lift and can glide a long time with the flaps down. It is a fun airplane and really draws the spectators. I think this is going to be a real winner for NitroPlanes, as it is a good camera platform plane for taking pictures of cities, towns, farms, crops, or you name it! CopterX 450 9th flight w1025 (triple camera setup)

Hi! I ordered 2 small keychain cameras from Hobbycity and planned to have them on the heli. And to have the big picture a hat cam was used in addition. These cameras cost 15 USD with a 2 gigabyte Micro SD (or Transflash) Sandisk memory card. If you take away the key ring and chain weight ends up similar to price, something around 15 grams. Good feature set. However I faced some issues. You can see following layout on screen: - top-left frame is a keychain camera mounted on tail boom, opposite to tail rotor - top-right frame is a Fuji F480 point and shoot camera on a baseball hat (that is on my head BTW) - bottom-right is second keychain camera mounted inverted on canopy nose, below ESC I received my cameras after some stock refilling at Hobbycity, these were coming from another batch than what reviewers had in first place. My cameras do not adjust sound level according to noise level. And they have issues to provide fluid picture. As you can see the footage has framedrops every 3-4 seconds. I suspect that the memory card cannot write as quickly as needed, so some frames are actually missed. There are some other issues worth addressing. These small cameras cannot really handle if a propeller or rotor is in the frame. Video compression gets crazy of rotating high-speed objects. The image gets wavy in this case. The other nemesis of video compression is vibration. You get plenty of that on a heli. I am not really sure how to dampen vibration, the heli is quite well balanced ...

Double Horse 9051 RC Heli Mods.wmv

Double Horse 9051 modified to 2.4G and 7.4V 1300 mAH. Paid $29 for this machine and now it flies much better. You can get the Art Tech EC-135 speed controller + gyro + mixer for $15 from Hobby Lobby - I just ordered 5 more. I like the reliability, and the gyro, while not headlock, is stable (these are not really 3D machines anyway). After this mod I also did it to the 9051A Eagle version and it flies all over the neighborhood (no wind conditions) using my Exceed 2.4G TX/RX. Here is what I would do. Buy the 2.4G CT6B TX/RX from Hobbypartz ($39) and the Art Tech controller ($15). Just hot glue into place. You can add additional RX to other copters later for $9 + $15 and make them all 2.4G. This radio system can be fully porgrammed from your computer. As a matter of fact, I simply added the Esky Lama V4 swashplate and two servos (hot glue) onto both my 9051s and they are now 4 channel. I love them this way! You need to make a swashplate guide but that was pretty simple. Anyway, you could always just buy a 4 channel copter but I like to make mods.
